Sir, I have applied for renewal of my passport under application no CAL-A-102414 dt 11.10.2011.Everything has been completed including police verification. The on-line enquiry intimates "DUE TO SOME UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES, THE PASSPORT IS GETTING DELAYED.EXPECTED TO DESPATCH WITHIN 7 DAYS". This massage I am observing in the network site for the last 4 months..Can you help in finding out the actual reason of delay? Thanks, D.Bose. Kolkata-700019.
