I am writing this to inform the authorities regarding the Stray Dogs’ Menace in C-3 (single storey, 80sq. yards) Janak Puri area. The strays are causing a great risk to all the people, specially ladies & senior citizens having their evening / late evening walks and children who play outside their homes. These dogs chase every passing vehicle, which has already resulted in a few nasty accidents. The number of stray dogs is increasing day by day. Some of the dogs are turning ferocious and attack people without reasons.they have all sort of infections in them.
Mostly they keep fighting & barking, creating scary atmosphere in the area. Their fierce barking during nights has made it difficult for people to have comfortable sleep.
We, the residents of this area, request you to look into this matter & issue necessary instructions to the concerned department to take necessary action to curb this nuisance. We request the corporation to send the dog catching squads or do something and provide some solution and keep the people safe.
