Since RTO has not provided option in the website for Auto Rickshaw complaints, I am registering my complaint in this windo. I hope RTO takes it in the right spirit and punish the erring auto driver.
I hailed an auto from Mulund East to Pestom Sagar via Amar Mahal. The meter of that auto was so perfect that it showed a fare of only Rs.87- something very rare. I complemented the auto driver.
On return I caught auto No. MH-03-1346 to Mulund East and got down a the same spot. That auto meter was showing a fare of Rs.107/=. When questioned the driver said I have to pay whatever his meter showed. I paid him Rs.110/- and he sped away even without giving me the balance. The return auto was also running at super speed, frightening me and my wife. Will the authorities be kind enough to take disciplinary action against the erring auto please?
I suggest that a separate slot be provided for complaining against autos in the website.
