Axix Bank/ Savings Account
Did not honor Govt ID as proof (Voters ID)

I went to change my house address for my savings account which I was asked for Govt Id to be submitted (Axix Bank... DLF Gallarya Branch. Gurgaon)

I went to Axix Bank Sec 53 branch Gurgaon on 2nd Jan and they refused to honor Voters ID as residence proof. how can a bank refuse a Govt Issued ID as a proof?
