Election Commission
60 Lakh Voters missing from TN Electoral list

Nearly 60 Lakh Voters who were eligible for voting in 2004 elections are missing from Voter's list in 2009.

As per EC's Website

No of Eligible Voters in TN 2004 LokSabha Election:4, 72, 52, 271

No of Eligible Voters in TN 2006 Assembly Election: 4, 66, 03, 352

No of Eligible Voters in TN 2009 LokSabha Election :4, 16, 41, 328

Nearly about 56, 10, 493 voters who were eligible for voting in 2004 Election are missing from the list.

Total no of Voters in India has increased by 4 Crores but in Tamil Nadu there is a negative growth of Eligible Voters.

Proof for these can found in Election Commision's Website:

2004 Election stats:

2006 Election stats:

http://eci.nic.in/StatisticalReports/SE_StatReport_TN_2006.pdf

2009 Election stats:

It is interesting to note that about 6 Lakh voters has been removed in 2006 Election (ADMK was the ruling the state at that point of time) and then about 50 Lakh voters has been removed in the period 2009 (DMK was the Government at the state).

Here the Chief Culprit is DMK which in Collusion with Government Servants (Who are favourable to DMK) may have removed these eligible voters.
