Settlement Letter Invalid

Dear Sir/Maam,

I had availed Bajaj Finance Consumer Loan A/C No:

2.404305332

As per the settlement Letter Dated 18/2 signed by Mr Dungston, the amount was paid in full and i also hold the Receipts for the the Payments done. But as per the Bajaj Finance Loan is still reflecting as open and now the representative Mr Balakrishna says that the Settlement Letter is invalid and he cannot do anything about it. Now my question is " what is the value of Settlement Letter? and can i appeal to Court against Bajaj Finance? Please Help!!
