I have been a Barclays Customer for over 2 years now... It is surprising to know how they get away inspite of adopting fraudulent practices
1.My credit card due date is the 28th of each month
2.Religiously i deposit my cheque by the 24th of each month
3.Surprisingly every month the cheque is presented only by the 1st or the 3rd or so
4.Bang comes the next bill with Late Payment Fee, Interest, Service Tax on Late Payment, Service Tax on Interest etc etc
5.How come the cheque always reaches them 2-3 days after the due date?
6.To add to this, their customer care executives (atleast thats what they call themselves) call atleast 20 times a day saying we have not received your payment and ask for details of the cheque details, which even inspite of patiently giving it every single time, they say they cant update the record till they physically get the cheque, so they keep calling till the 3rd
7.I call up their customer care to lodge a complaint and they say you make the minimum payment and we will reverse the late payment in the next bill, which never happens
8.Bill after bill the late payment fees keeping adding up
9.Now 3 months ago, i stopped making payment towards late payment fee and paid up all the transaction amount
10.These guys are hounding me with a min of 25 calls every single day, when i tell them the reason why i dont intend making the payment, etc etc they still insist me to make the min payment so that they can sort it out the next month, which would never come...
Innumerous calls and emails have not resolved my issue...
CAN SOME RESPONSIBLE PERSON AT BARCLAYS PL GIVE ME SOME PROPER RESPONSE AND RESOLVE MY ISSUE???
