For new connection

Sir m permanent resident of village side (rural area near border). i want to know the amount for new bharat gas connection, m not satisfied the information which i hv got from nearest office, once they askd me to pay 4400/- for new connection & then at the time of payment they refused the amount & askd for more payment about 4580/- for new connection. kindly tell me the exact amount for new connection for rural area so that i can proceed further to get a new connection.
