Dear Sir,

I am residing at Virar (E) where Bharat Gas Agency through Anita Gas Agency is supplying Bharat Gas to the Consumer. However, the office and godown of Bharat Gas is located on the Western side of Virar, which is very far from my residence.

I am holding connection no. 106536 by my name. When i made an application for connection, i was given only one cylinder even after my repeated requests for providing me a second cylinder so that i shall not suffer during any gas scarcity. But the Agency refused to issue me a second cylinder saying that Company i.e. Bharat Gas has stopped issuance of a second cylinder to a consumer.

Since I have taken this connection every time i am facing a problem of late delivery due to shortage of gas. Whenever I called for gas booking every time Agency gives me the same excuse that gas is not available as there is a shortage.

Every month I am receiving a cylinder after 3-4 days even more after booking of the gas. That too after making repeated calls and requests.

This time they have crossed the limit of giving an improper service as they asked me to come to there office and collect the cylinder from their Godown which is very far from my residence and Autoriksha charges more than Rs. 200 from my residence to the Godown of Bharat Gas.

I am living with my old parents and both are above the age of 65. I am working in private firm in Bombay which is two and a half hour way from my virar. I cannot take a leave every month for collection of a gas cylinder and pay extra Rs. 400 for conveyance to bring the cylinder home from the Godown of Anita Gas Agency.

And I am not able to understand, when gas is available with the dealer why he is not willing for a home delivery and unnecessary harassing consumers by creating a fake shortage of gas.

I am so fad up with the services of Bharat Gas that I feel that if such situation will remain like this, I will have to file a case against Bharat Gas and Anita Gas Agency in the consumer forum.

I hope whosoever will come across with my mail will take some strict action to sort out such problems, which is not only increasing the dissatisfaction amongst the consumers for Bharat Gas but also hampering the reputation and good will of Bharat Petroleum.
