I have taken a Car Loan from HDFC Bank Indira Nagar Branch.
My Car Loan A/c number is 16385197.
I applied for issue of an NOC on 24th July as I will be shifting from Bangalore to Mumbai on 7th August.
In my application to the Bank in this regard, I had written clearly that I will be shifting to Mumbai only on 7th of August and at the New Address that I have mentioned, no body will be available for verification. To this effect, I also gave the Cell# of the owner of the house with whom I have done the rental agreement, a copy of which I also submitted along with my application. Besides this, I also gave the cell number of the Agent through which I had done this rental agreement. Both the house owner and the agent live in the same locality where my new rental apartment is located in Mumbai.
Despite all this, I was told after 7 days that the HDFC team from Mumbai has given a Negative Report as they didn't find any body at the new Mumbai address I had mentioned. Which would have been the case as I haven't shifted as of now from Bangalore and plan to do the same only on 7th of August.
On inquiring about this, the customer care department at Bank has mentioned that my case now has been forwarded to the Credit Department and it will take at least 3-4 days for them to submit the report and depending on the report, the NOC will be issued.
During the conversations in this regard, I have tried to explain my case and the urgency to get the NOC while there is no mistake on my part, the response from customer care team has been typical of a government organization where things take there on sweet time depending upon the intent, availability and speed of redressal of cases by the concerned personnel irrespective of the urgency of the case. This is not at all the conduct of a customer friendly and a customer centric organization which I believed so far that HDFC Bank is.
I am writing this complaint but not sure if it will be acted upon!
