I have purchase honda car in 2008. in car satrring give problem in approx 50000 km. On the suggestion of service adviser ring road honda gurgaon i make gape on service .he told me tht no service is require upto 100000km on this car.in between i got problem on starring of my car. they told me that they will replace this part under warranty .when servire came he told us that due to eregulre of service we cannot change the part. i just want to know that what is the link between starring and service of car.i mail vice persident and persident of honda seil car company but they also not help me .for them starring is more important then human life. every time there is risk of life while driving the car. i requet all the people please think before buying the honda car .pls also read my whole mail before purchasing the honda car.

We would like to bring to your notice our plight & treatment given to your customers by your team members & dealership staff.

Please find here the pathetic, inconsiderate, irresponsible, irritating reply from your company V.P.-Marketing.

From his reply he seems to be irritated by the fact that

Why a customer is sending repeated reminders?

His reply seems to be pinpointing that your so called great company has replied 3 times against our 10 reminders & 50phonecalls, nowhere he seems to be bothered about our condition or what was our reply over the mail sent by your CRM Deprtment.

We are shocked to see the reply of your VP – Marketing stating that

“We would like to reiterate that the Extended Warranty of the car is valid only if the regular maintenance is done as per schedule specified by the manufacturer. In the case of your car, the PM services scheduled at 55K and 65k Kms have not been done which invalidates the Extended Warranty on your car. The above fact is also mentioned in the Extended warranty booklet handed over to you at the time of purchase.

Further, to your query regarding the relationship between PM Service and Steering, we wish to inform you that during all PM services, we undertake extensive checks on steering and suspension parts wherein all the nuts and fasteners are re-torqued, all electrical wirings, connections & couplers are inspected and all steering & suspension joints are lubricated to reduce stress on moving parts. If you don't get the routine maintenance done regularly, covering the above jobs, the parts will experience increased stress which may result in their failure as has happened in your case.”

Does this means that HONDA CARS uses power steering of such poor quality that they needs re-torquing at every 5000kms & if not done it would fail. We have already stated in our various communications as we have skipped theses services on recommendations of Service Advisor at your Dealership RING ROAD HONDA, Gurgaon, who told us to get car serviced at 10000kms at the time he insisted us to go for synthetic engine oil to be filled in place of normal engine oil.(He told us this is of better quality & needs replacement to 10000kms so you can get your car serviced after driving 10000kms).

From the reply received by your VP & CRM it seems they are least bothered about customer & everyone is saying the same song.

Nobody at the time of delivery told us that the car warranty is only 40000kms & after that the parts would be covered under extended by Insurance Company & Honda Cars have no say over it.

Why when we first time reported this complaint of noise coming from steering on 24-11 at Kms : 59027

Your dealership staff at that time only tightened a bolt & not replaced unit under warranty.

It seems that your dealership & Honda Company staff just trying to pass the buck some way or other to each other & finally back to customer.

We still feel that the problem of noise coming from power sttering is due to poor product quality and not due to services not done (That also was not done due to your dealership service advisor telling us so)

So we would request you to kindly ask your dealership to replace the power steering under warranty, with no cost being shared by us. We also feel the offer given by your VP

“In view of the above, we are constrained to express our inability to repair the car under warranty. However, you can get the part replaced on chargeable basis, in such a case as we have already offered to you, we would advise our dealer to pass on a discount of 5% the part and 25% on labour as a gesture of goodwill towards an esteemed customer.”

This above statement / offer by your VP seems to be like giving a offering to a beggar. What help a person of VP Level offering to a customer has no fault & who has purchased a car for 7 Lacs, he is offering us 2500/- what he think of us, what he means by discount of 5% on part of 45000/- a mere amount of 2250/- & 25%on labour of 1000/- i.e. mere 250/- more. (2250 250=Rs2500). More ever same was offered to us by your CRM & we have refused for same earlier.

The car is lying unutilized for a month now, as I promise to not get it changed at my cost as I feel this failure is due to product quality & nothing to do with services being done or not. I don’t want to put life of my family members while driving this car. In case of any mishappening OR Accident happening to myself or any of my family members while using this car the entire responsibility now lies with you & your company.

We would request you to kindly help your customer in getting justice which is already being denied & delayed to us.

A customer of yours who is promisising you to not take Honda car again in future by self or any other members of my family members if my justful right is not delivered to me.

Looking for a favorable response from your side by giving free replacement of power steering under warranty to us.

steering, then they said there is no noise & its ok, then they said

there is noise but claim is rejected due to services not done on time or

Also it was Dealership Service Advisor of Ring Road Honda Gurgaon who told

us that as you are going for Synthetic Oil for servicing which is of superior

quality, you can get your car serviced at 10000kms interval. As a customer

we followed his advice as he being employee of your dealership, he at the

time of selling us synthetic oil never told us that our warranty would

be lapsed if we don’t get our car serviced at 5000kms interval.

we are hoping for any response from your dealer M/S RING ROAD HONDA GURGAON

from Mr SEHGAL but we didnot get any call or response from him or any other

service advisor. We think that M/s ring road honda Or M/S HONDA SEIAL COMPANY

is not intersted to provide any satisfaction to his coustmer. We are personally

filling that company is only for selling car and not able to provide service

to his customer.company is not woried about its brand. I think that presonaly

that this kind of matter help me to make my mind that in future i will

not take any risk to buy any kind of honda product, sepcially honda car

Kindly refer to your e-mail and our tele conversation regarding above mentioned

car.

The car came on 20th April for noise in the front. During diagnosis,

it was observed that power steering rack required replacement. As this

part required to be replaced under extended wtty, surveyor from insurance

company was called.

The surveyor rejected the claim as two to three services were not carried

out as per maintenance sehedule. This was communicated in person as well

as on telephone.

We assure you that it will be always our endeavour to provide you our best
