Terrible service for processing car loan, annoying reasons by staff

Was in the processes of getting a Car loan from HDFC Bank, Thane branch, the experience has been completely annoying, the reason why most people approach private banks these days is for their service, and i guess its only because of few people and the banking expereince they extend to customers, we make a opinion of the Bank.

The loan application has been pending for a week now when the commitment given was 3 working days, since we had a preapproved loan and salar a/c's are also in the same bank. When HDFC bank staff requires documents they stand on your head but when its our turn to ask about disbursement they give excuses, Sales Manager by the name of Birender and Mr. shetty from Mumbai Thane branch was that the delay is happening because loan approvrs have gone for a Goa meet and there is a delay for that reason. It leaves a bad taste for me as customer for these people and the bank as well. I had very high reagrds for the service standard of HDFC but now i would prefer not to deal with the Bank. It would really worry me if the sales and branch staff of my company work like this and give tgis kind of service to customers. I myself work in serivice industry, am very well aware that what is the value of commitment and time lines in the industry.

Latest excuse for delay in disbursement is that today being 30th April the system will be closed for 2 days for updations.

The last bank one should approach for car loans for sure
