HDFC Home Loan - The worst

Dear Sir/Mam,

This email is in regards to your service and my discontentment towards it. This is to bring in to your notice that my name is Prakash Arya, I am existing user of HDFC (I have a home loan in indore), HDFC Bank (Have a NRI Account) & HDFC Quick Remit. However, recently I had applied for a new home loan in the HDFC Indore branch & had a worst experience of your service and commitments.

I stay in Singapore & I had applied for the new home loan in HDFC Indore Branch (File Number: 539505700) in Apr. During my application I was told that I will be getting loan approval within 1 week from date of application. However, instead of submitting all the documents mentioned in the loan request, HDFC indore kept me asking for some or other documents for next 1-2 weeks. In the month of May there was verification at my home in Indore & then I was asked to visit HDFC Singapore branch for final verification. Once everything was done I was expecting that I will get approval in next couple of days. However, I did not hear anything from HDFC instead of keep sending email reminders in Indore as well as Singapore branch. I have sent email reminders to following personnel:

It was more than 2 months now & as it looks like no one reads emails in HDFC, I called HDFC indore branch in June 2nd week. And what I was told that was a shock... I was told that my loan file application has been closed on 3rd June. I asked them if it was closed then why no one informed me instead of sending so many emails to HDFC Singapore & HDFC Indore branch..but they had no answers for this.

I managed to get speak to the loan officer Mr. Paul (Indore Branch) & He said there are some late payments for Pre EMI for your previous loans & thats why we have closed your file. I told them that during the first loan application I had signed up for ECS facility for deduction from bank directly every month & I have sufficient funds in my account & the PRE emi should get deducted automatically. furthermore, when I got reminder from HDFC for payment of pre EMI I called the guy Dinesh (thru which I had taken my previous loan) to deposite the cheque & settle the payment.

However, no one looks interested in HDFC (specially Indore branch) to look into customers matters.

I wasted 2 months with HDFC & finally decided to not to any business with HDFC / HDFC bank in future. I have shared my experience with all my friends to asked to to be beware of HDFC (specially Indore branch).

I am not expecting that someone from HDFC will look into this matter because I made complaint on their website & no one has replied yet. I am posting this to warn anyone who is willing to take home loan from HDFC.
