I have applied for the Home loan on 20/05, issued a chq of amount Rs.4412/- in your favor. On 24th when your person called me to confirm the timing to send you executive at office for employment verification then I informed him that now I don't require loan so pls don't send your person & I will collect cheque other given documents from your branch on Saturday i.e. 29/05 but they have sent the person on 26/05 for verification at my office. On that time also i ask him that I don't require home loan now so close this case. On the same day I have also passed this information to Mr. Anshuman (Sales person -HDFC) that I don't require home loan now.
Somehow i am not able to visit your branch from last one month to collect the given documents & cheque.
Today I have got my qtrly ICICI bank statement where they have imposed chq bounced charges of Rs.386/- in my account. After verification with bank I came to know that one chq# 463997 of Rs.4412/- came to account on 29/05 & got returned due to "insufficient fund" which issued to HDFC Home loan.
The same I tried to inquire with Mr. Anshuman but not able to get the answer that why his people present the cheque on 29th May'2010 inspite of clear communication to them on 24th & 26th May'10 that i am not willing to take the home loan now. It is also very surprising that no communication passed from HDFC to me that my cheque got bounced.
Bank should reimburse these charges to me without any delay.
