I am a Chartered Accountant by profession and a permanent resident of Kolkata. Presently servicing in a reputed Construction company in Kolkata. I have maintaining a Salary account no.01051140048662.with HDFC bank, UNB Branch, with “Classic Customer”Category and a personal Loan a/c no -20306164.

During April I had been betrothed with your renowned Financial Institution with an urge to accomplish a housebuilding loan of Rs.2200000/- . Initially I had contacted with official of your Kolkata Branch, HDFC limited and with prompt effect an executive, DEEPAYAN BANERJEE (HDFC Sales Ltd. 220/1 Hemanta Basu Sarani, Kolkata) came down to my office with proposal forms and all sorts of terms & conditions in details as stated by law. As per bank requirement, I have submitted all necessary documents and processing fees on the very next day On -20/04 in the hands of your executive.

Thereafter, the next 8 days I didn't get any phone call or any information from the branch and I was inclined into complete darkness about the progress of the Loan Proposal. Also, I didn't get the Application number from your branch which is absolute necessary for further communication against my loan application. After contacted with your branch I was dazed to know that the Loan Application number has not yet generated. Next few days I have gone through a bitter experience of insouciance and tardy behavior of the Kolkata branch.

I was disheartened to acknowledge that my loan proposal has not been processed even after submission at the execution section of Kolkata Office. Also, the branch officials are unaware about the reason and unable to stated me the cause of rejection. In the meanwhile my promoter has cancelled the sale agreement due to the excessive delay caused by your branch. So, I have opted to cancel the loan application with immediate effect on 02/05 request them to return back all the papers submitted to them. But, this was not enough for my frustration and agony, rather its uproar day by day because the above submitted documents, I have been unable to collect from your branch till date, due to acute slackness and sneaky attitude of your branch officials.

Regrettably, this is to inform you that though I have achieved 'SIBIL' rating no-806 with repute, I have been refused by your bank simply by their callousness and unprofessional attitude which is absolutely not expected from such a renowned financial institution. My paranoia about your company is proved very costly for my valuable time, money as well as mental impediment. Some days before I have send a complain letter to your customer care for not returning my documents, but instead of their acknowledgment of the same, they are maintaining absolute silence about my necessity.

I am writing this letter with lot of anguish and agony at the attitude of your branch showing towards its customers. I strongly urge your intervention into the matter and returned my documents at the earliest.
