Sir, I had booked a Honda Activa White on 16-8 with KTC Honda Calicut'vide Booking No58903 dated 16-8, and paid cash of Rs 1000-oo as booking charge vide Receipt No-9221 dt 16-8-10.in the Name of Mr. Muhammad Fowseer, Pleasant, Pokkalath, Chelavoor Calicut Kerala. Already one year is completed my waiting. Now the Dealer Supra called me and informed to Pay full amount of Rs 48799-00 immediately and wait till the vehicle come. The best of my knowledge I underestand that the amount is payable on delivery of the vehicle when invoice is made. A dealer cannot insist to pay the full amount and again keep waiting till the veh allotted. The manager concern of the dealer is very adamant and told me that if you are not paying the full amount your booking stand cancelled. It is my humble request that whether this system is enacted by Honda activa or the dealer. This is draconean and as per the existing norms I cannot pay the full amount before the vehicle allotted. Then how the dealer called me and insisting to make the full payment before I see the vehicle. The manager of the firm is unable to clarify my doubts. If this is the system it is against consumer rights. Ther fore please inform me about the facts and I want to seek legal remedy if it is so. Otherwise advise accordingly at the earliest.
