Rust in Fuel cap

Sir,

I brought my honda shine bike one year back. My fuel tank cap was rusted inside. I gave the bike for service on 30/1. Age of my bike at that time was 1 year 2 days. The deler says the warandy is for one year. My argument is it is not rustedin 2 days. I feel that the manufatures gave some defective part to me. I requested to change the cap in warandy
