Myself Amit Sehgal resident of Central Delhi, has a Salary Account with Icici Bank since last four years, also using a Credit card with 2 Personal Loans and a Car Loan which has just got over. I have been paying every EMI and Payments on Time which proves my Credibility and Loyalty to the Banks. But inreturn ICICI bank is Penalizing with something which is their fault and they call it a system error.
I went abroad with Rs 3000 in my Account and when I came back and checked my Account after 5 or 6days it was debit 127000/-. On my Inquiry to the same I was told that it was a SYSTEM ERROR that whosesoever withdrew money there wheteher you or anyone else was converted into INR. For Example, if someone withdrew 100pounds (Rs7300) the SYSTEM converted into 100 rupees. So this way my Account became -RS 127000, and now they blame me for the same stating that you have to pay the whole amount ignoring the fact that if a customer has RS 3000 in his account that to Savings Account not the Credit Card how can someone withdraw so much money and if something like this happens its a clear cut fault of the bank. And the Customer should not be held responsible for the same. And its my Salary Account and they told me that we will deduct the salary against that money and this is the only source of Living for me and I really cant fulfill my other Commitments too. And there has been no Correspondence from their side too and when I try to do, they respond in a very Unprofessional and Roude Manner. Also I have started getting calls from the Recovery Team and two days back their executive also came at home.
So I seek your help and hope to get the Resolution from you,
