I am getting my vehicle insurance done by IFFCO-TOKIO for several years. My present Policy no. is 1-HHYHU9 dated 22-3
This year on 6th MAY I sent my car for replacement of the front windshield of my car & a dent on the right side of my car to the Authorised dealer M/S SPRITED AUTO CARS (I) LTD, New Delhi. The Claim was filed by claim no.1-KKOGGS. The same day a surveyor Shri M.K.Agarwal visited & inspected the vehicle. He only allowed the glass to be replaced & the dent was not allowed. I would like to mention that this was the first claim ever made by me. So the glass was replaced & I was given the date of 7th May to take back my car. On 7th of May I was informed that the Insurance co. IFFCO-TOKIO has not given the delivery order to the dealer so I cannot get the vehicle without payment. I tried to contact the branch manager Mr. Virat who also expressed his inability in getting my vehicle delivered before Monday. Till date the D.O. has not been sent & I am stranded without my car due to which all my day to day work is being hampered & I am forced to spend a huge amount on Taxis. Grievances & Complaints SITE OF IFFCO-TOKIO IS ALSO an eye wash (NOT working) SO NO COMPLAINT CAN BE LODGED. No e-mail to lodge your complaint or contact any high official.
Now I do not understand why this harassment to the insurer when I have taken a cashless Insurance Policy.
