NON RETURN OF REFUNDABLE AMOUNT

I had filed IT Return for the Assessment Year 2007 for a refundable amount of Rs 10652/- but after such a long period of time and running behind IT Office at Tambaram I lost faith on IT Department. Should I ever get back my said refundable amount within my lifetime? My IT No.- ABUPD4219K.
