I am a grieved user of Reliance Mobile. Let me explain...
I already have mobile connections of other providers, and I am into business. I had a villa for sale and wanted to advertise in Newspaper. But I didn't want related calls on my existing mobiles bcos I wanted control over the calls from the Ad. So I appled for a Relaince connetion from Tripunithura office near SN junction, Cochin, Kerala. Then and there itself, I submitted the proof of identity as well as the photograph. It got through and I got hte connection running. Then I went to the Newspaper and gave the Ad. Two days before the date of the Ad, I got a message that my outgoing is barred. I contacted the service and got a reply that my address proof failed. What is with my address? I have been living there fo the past 30 years!!! Even my cars are registered onthe same address. I contaced the office and told them that I needed the connection urgently becos of the Ad. They agreed to take care of that. But Alas!!! the next day, Incoming also got barred. You can check for your selves, the number is 08893089485 with Rs. 115 Balance!!! I contaced the office disappointed of the upcoming Ad, for which I had paid Rs. 1800 and thinking about the callers getting a "OUT OF SERVICE " Message. Again they saif it will be ok and I asked a confirmation. Then they said: "IT IS NOT SURE, THIS MAY TAKE TIME ..." Then and there, I threw the SIM card at them and walked off. I have got 5 of my mobile numbers on the same address and I don't know what Reliance brothers are looking at. Any way I donate my balance Rs 115 to Reliance!!!
Nothing to say about the Ad on the next day, with out a proper number, and the Ad was useless...
There are many decent providers in India, then why people go after Reliance? Let them STOP this ugly Business.
Mind you, they never called me up saying a sorry or some thing. This number 8893089485 (if in use) is still on my name (Madhu Gopal, Poonithura, Cochin, Kerala).
