INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK IFFCO TOWNSHIP BRANCH
With out prior intimation local branch manager was blocked my available balance

Dear sir

I G.V.SRINIVASACHARI saving bank account holder, a/c no 184001000001607, have transferred 2000 USD in the month of dec. The bank has deducted 20 usd and for 1980 USD were credited in my account 0n 10-12. Recently 10 days back my mother became sick and local doctor was suggested to admit in coroprate hospital. But the transactions thru net banking failed several times showing over draft. Immediately i send mails to net banking services but they told your available balance is less and contact local branch. What happened the local manager over acted and blocked my current balance transfer in to available balance. because of this unusual action with out any intimation.i was unable to admit my mother in corporate hospital and still she is not good. I reported the same to regional manger but no response. Finally i have sent one authorization letter sent to my friend and requested him who was staying in iffco township to see the manager. I regret to inform that is concerned bank manager having right to block my available balance? moreover the branch manager told that for future transfer of foreign currency i should inform and take permission Is there any such rule in your bank or RBI? I would like to suit a case against branch manager and bank. Because of this inconvenience my mother suffered a lot.
