Recently I had applied for an auto loan with Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd and I was shocked to hear from them that the loan cannot be sanctioned as I am in the Defaulter list of CIBIL for non-payment of auto loan of Rs.585000/- which still shows as outstanding with CIBIL records to the tune of Rs.710950/-. The above transaction was with HDFC Bank Ltd. and since there was some dispute with the supplier of the vehicle viz. Krishna Motors as they could not deliver the vehicle as promised on time, I have cancelled the order placed with them and also cancelled the loan account and not availed the loan from HDFC Bank. I have all the proof and confirmation from the bank for cancellation of the loan account and the proof from Krishna Motors for refunding the deposit money paid against the order. I do not undersand as to how this loan is shown as outstanding with CIBIL records to the tune of Rs.710950/- when the transaction itself was cancelled and no loan was disbursed by HDFC Bank to me. I have not availed any auto loan or housing loan from any bank which remained to be settled and have never been a defaulter in repayment of loans. Such false information with CIBIL which are not updated properly is maligning the image and crediworthiness of genuine people. CIBIL may take up the matter with HDFC Bank for confirmation of the above and I request an immeidate action in the matter to get my name removed from the defaulters list of CIBIL.
The Control No. reflected in my CIBIL List is 416194670
Member ID NB 66151050
DOB 28.5.1955

Looking forward to your urgent and suitable action in the matter and thanking you,
