My Loan account no is 14506006647 and file no 759074 from LICHF Amritsar office. Ajay Aggarwal area manager informed me today (26/04) that you have failed to deposited your 4 month EMI and started threatening me for legal action against me
During loan request, I provided them 20 PDC and ECS enable application duly filled and signed. Which Ajay Aggrawal said we are unable to get that service activate and we have consumed your 16 Post dated cheques. When I asked for rest of the cheques available with them and why they could not inform me since last 4 months if they could not received the payment. They had no clue and answers for the same and said this was our minor mistake. As per RBI rules Area office must inform customer if the cheques availability is exhausted, at least a month advance. Which they fail to. I never received any Email/ Letter/ Phone call in past from that office for any communication and reminders.
Now, Ajay Aggarwal, area manager informed me that they will use my available cheques with them but I would have to pay huge penalty. As It is not my fault why should I pay that penalty at all. Also, I am worried if by CIBIL has any default status due to LICHF technical and operation issues.
Please suggest what should I do?
