2. The complaint is being lodged under Section 18 of the Consumers Protection Act, 1985 that the said agent Mr. Sukhwinder Chaukaria R/o Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar, Bhanoki Road, Phagwara played gimmicks with the consumer Miss Pooja Rani and her mother Smt. Sudha Rani as he collected Rs 1, 632=00 (Rs One thousand six hundred thirty two only) from the consumers and after repeated rounds failed to provide the receipt of the amount deposited.

3. From the last one year the consumer has not got any correspondence from the LIC office and on repeated visits to the said agent he again insist to pay him Rs 1632 but fail to provide any documentary evidences of deposits made to LIC of India.

4. That the consumer has already paid Premium of the amount payable but LIC has failed to provide receipt till date to her.

5. That no intimation till date has been provided by LIC of India to the consumer regarding payment and due in her account.

RELIEF SOUGHT:

1. The consumer kindly be provided receipt of the amount deposited so far.

2. Details about the amount due kindly be provided to the consumer.
