Insurance company not cancelling my policy

Dear Sir/Madam,

Reg my Insurance policy from max new york life.

I have requested for cancellation of policy 732247663 and am ok to pay the cancellation charges that may be incurred normally upon cancellation.

However, when i contacted the company they are forcing me to make another payment of the premium if at all i have to cancel.

Please advice
