To,

THE OPERATION MANAGER

METLIFE INDIA

Sub: Cancelation of policy and refund

of money

Sir,

I Md. Saquib Faraz son of Md. Sarfaraz Alam want to inform you that we have been misleaded and cheated by metlife, misselling has been done from the representative of your organisation. Hence I want to cancel the policy and want the money back, the reasons are stated below:

1) Telecaller called up my dad and misguided telling that we have been selected among 400 people to receive benefits of cashless card where four members of the family would be covered, if any issue comes regarding health would be reimbursed by the company upto Rs 3, 00, 000 per annum, no matter it is hospitalization charges or purchase of medicines.

2) We waited till 29.07.09 but we never received any cashless medical card, hence contacted on toll free no. and they informed there is no such benefit on this plan. Therefore we issued a surrender letter to cancel the entire policy in Park Street (Metlife India) branch, still we got apology calls from this branch and Mumbai branch, then somebody named 'Amar Roy' visited my work place on 01/08/09 and convinced my dad regarding the said policy stating we would be getting the same benefits hence requested not to cancel the plan and issued us another policy document in which the policy no. is 20088490 though initially prior to cancelation my policy no. was 20065868, and that person didn't revealed his identity of designation neither his employee code, and his branch and cheated us again by giving the same committment.

Hence, I and my dad understood that Metlife is a fraudulent organisation which cannot be trusted, therefore I want to cancel the entire policy and want the money back otherwise we will be forced to take legal steps against Metlife and drag to consumer protection forum and lodge a complain to IRDA.

Thanking You

Yours sincerely

Md. Saquib Faraz

(son of Md. Sarfaraz Alam)
