I wish to lodge a complaint against the Metlife Insurance Company. Below is the complete details of the complain.
It gives me a great pain & grief to bring to Metlife’s notice about poor service rendered to my application for Online Term Insurance Plan that I bought on May 8. After completing the initial application and payment, I was approached by different departments of Metlife for different documentation, which was totally confusing for me. I cleared all the requirements and was finally told that I need to submit my medical reports for Colonoscopy which was done before 1 year. I said that I do not have any documents related to the same and therefore I was told to submit the Declaration Form which I submitted on the same day (May 18). Later I was informed from the Customer Service Office and Vadodara Branch Office of Metlife that everything is completed and I would receive the policy within 21 working days.
Now I am asked to provide the reports related to Hospitalization & Colonoscopy. I have already replied several times that I don't have these documents with me. That's the reason I provided the declaration as suggested by MetLife. As of today, the policy is not issued to me. Was it my fault to declare about 1 day hospitalization which was before 1 year?
I took the policy based on suggestion from Policy Bazaar wherein I was told that Metlife is the best company in Customer Relations. Even after completing all the requirements if this is the service that I am getting from Metlife than probably I was fooled by Policy Bazaar and Metlife both. I am wondering that if this is the service which Metlife is providing when I am alive, what service will MetLife provide to my family when I am dead.
Attached are the Declaration Document and all the Emails that I sent to PaceSetters and MetLife. This is the last communication that I am having with MetLife related to my Policy. Please suggest what action I can take further.
