I purchased a Samsung mobile of Rs.15, 450 on 4th April and also paid Rs. 500 for insurance of pick pocketing and theft. On March 28th sadly my mobile got pick-pocketed and I lost it. I’ve logged a complaint at Selaiyur police station and got the CSR mentioned THEFT. after 25 days i got the Theft and non-traceable certificate from the crime inspector of the police station. and the Alegion broking insurance rep and Oriental Insurance Co. informed me that 80to 85 of mobile will be settled to in 45 days. On 7th may, i’ve received the notice from Alegion broking insurance says “We are happy to inform that your mobile insurance claim has been settled by ORIENTAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED, MAYILADUTHURAI on april 30th for RS – 4500/-” I’m not able to bear it anymore, its just 32% of the mobile cost. Will you plz help me?
