This is a complaint against the company named - Mxfoods Pvt Ltd, based out of Delhi, and involved in food retail business. They are running kiosk outlets at various mulitplexes and malls across India (as they claim) with two brands - MxCorn and Chaat Street. Their website is www.Mxfoods.in and their contact address as per their website is - 459, Patpar Ganj Industrial Area. However, please note that this address is no longer valid and they have shifted their office long back to Gazi Pur but have not updated this at their website intentionally. Same is true with their landline and mobile numbers. The name of the owner of company is Tyagi and one of their key executive name is Kanish Saigal who mentions himself as Sr Business Development Manager, though, its a question what all is he capable of managing. He doesn't seem more than a commision agent for the company who has no capability except to miguide the people, vendors and business partners of the company and snatch away their money. The contact number of Tyagi is 9810012842 and that of Kanish Saigal is 9212521704. As per their website, they claim to be running outlest across many different multiplexes and malls and shopping complexes like Emaar MGF, Unitech, Fun cinema, Satyam, EDM mall and many many more.
The purpose of this complaint is to inform general public and other vendors, business partners, malls and multiplexes management and anyone who is planning to deal with this company in anyway or anyone like me who have had this misfortune of dealing with them already so that the company and its owners and executives can not get away so easily duping the people's money.
I have taken the franchisee of one of their outlets in Delhi and paid them refundable security deposit of Rs 2.5 lacs and signed the agreement. As per agreement, I am supposed to get commision as per - 10% of monthly sales or 25% of security deposit amount - by 15th of each month. To make me as their franchisee they had provided all the fake data in terms of fake sales report and profitibility, as what it seems now. Soon after siging the agreement and paying them the money, they stopped responding to my queries, calls, mails etc. and to even get my monthly commiton cheque I had to literally struggle and spend thousands of ruppees each month on making calls and sending emails. Beauty of this company is that each one including the owner are trained to be the height of unprofessionalism as they would never bother about either attending to my calls/emails or even call back later. Even if I get connected by mistake then they would keep on making excuses of being busy or being on outstation tour, though god knows, what these guys are busy with as they hardly have anything to manage and be busy with.
After spending couple of months of feeling frustrated of dealing with these useless bunch of guys at Mxfoods, I asked for my security deposit back as they were unable to pay my monthly commision in time and I have been spending more amount than I earned thru commision on my phone expenses. I got in touch with Kanish and Tyagi and when somehow I could speak with Kanish, he mentioned I can not ask for my deposit back before end of one year as per agreement. I reminded him about the other clauses of the agreement also of paying well in time to its franchisee but obviously he had no answer. Anyhow, I thought of waiting till the end and then at the end of tenure I sent them formal notice for refunding my security deposit and I was supposed to get it back by Feb. When I did not hear from them (and as was expected) until end of 1st week of Feb I tried calling Kanish and Tyagi to follow up. Though Tyagi never picked up the call but I was lucky enough that after few days and around 500-600 calls, he got to pick up one of my call and informed me that my refund is under process and it may take another week. After that I kept calling them again and again for following up, each time Kanish had the same thing to tell that refund is under process (as if country is PM has to approve it). Then again after thousands of calls and a month later, he finally said that there is some financial crisis is going on with the company and that company can not pay back me at this moment and it make take 2-2.5 months more, however, again he didn't confirm that timeframe and indicated that it may take even more as if it is their birth right to delay the payment as long as they want. Please note that by now they had already stopped sending my commision cheque as well. So till date they have not paid anything on that and as I had warned them about the legal action, I have stared the process and already initiated that. This complaint is in line with that process so as to inform everyone about this company and its owner and executives' unprofessional behaviour as well as illegal and unthical practices so that they can not dupe anymore people with their hard earned money. Second purpose, is to bring forth other people who may hve faced similar problem of dealing with this company so that we can fight togther. Already 2 more people have joined me against he Mxfoods. As a further steps, we are going to escalate the matter to other regulatory authorities like Police (inclduing commisioner of Poice), different consumer forums, Ministry of company affairs, Franchisee Association, Malls and multilexes mangement where their outlets are located and ofcourse our media (newspaper and news channels). We have already initiated the process of involving the media and have sent the formal intimation to them in this regard. We won't allow them to dupe people with their money and still roam free in their cars. If they don't have money to pay back their investors, they don't have any right to enjoy any of their assets like travelling in car, using homes and other facilities. If we have to take the legal route only to get back our money, then it would not be just for the amount which is due towards us but it would also be huge comensation we would filing for including freezing their company's operation, their bank accounts, their assets and get them arrested. We would also plan for public humiliation of its owner Tyagi and executives Kanish Saigal & othes in front of media so that they get a lesson of their lifetime.
