Non payment of Car Policy claim since 6 months

Subject: Complaint: Insurance Claim for policy number. 271700/31/11/6100000468.

Dear Sir / Madam,

This is with regards to my insurance claim on the above mentioned Car policy.

On the outset I would like to express my complete displeasure in dealing with your company for recovering my claim money for more than six months now, which incidentally is not still recovered.

I have been following up on the payment since July, each time I was given a certain commitment and not delivered. In the month of January when I called to follow up on the status of my claim, your office informed me that the cheque is ready and will be dispatched to my currant office address in Hyderabad. The Cheque was supposed to be dispatched by registered post. Hence, assuming it would take further 7 days more I called your office after 10 days and I was informed that, your records shows that the cheque is dispatched by registered post on the 5th January and should have reached me. It is very obvious that if I had received the cheque, I would have made a call to your office to thank them and not to ask them about the status on my cheque. I also went to the local post office here and reconfirmed whether they have received any post in my name. However, the search was all in vein. Now your office assumes that the cheque has been lost in transit and wants me to send a letter of Indemnity on a Non judicial Stamp paper and send it to your office by only post which they will start processing my payment through electronic transfer, which in turn will take another 15 days more post receipt of the indemnity bond.

Out of sheer frustration I have complained about this on your website under the Grievance tab, to which I yet have not got any response. Hence, I got even more frustrated and complaint on the consumer forum website, which was again not responded to. Hence, I am now completely convinced that you are a very cash rich company and do not really care about customer service and their sentiments. It is also obvious that troubling customers for their claim till the customer gives up finally would have been a contribution for you to become a cash rich company.

As spoken to you, I have no choice but depend on your mercy and hence, I am sending the indemnity bond with very less hope even at this time to receive my claim.

Well it is needless to mention that I will not dare to recommend your company for any of my family, friends or corporate clients as unlike you, I am very concerned about my reputation and would not like any one to blame me for any incident s that happens with them such as mine. I would rather propagate my experience to all of them so that they know as to what reality they would go through in future.
