DELAY IN SUPPLY/ POOR RESPONSE

Steel Authority of India Ltd., IISCO Steel Plant has placed purchase order on M/s Nikhil Footwear Pvt Ltd on 16.4.2009 for supply of 9000 pairs against which 724 Pairs are yet to be supplied although 12 months have passed.

Another order for 1428 Pairs was placed on 22.3.2010 with delivery period as 22.4.10 for 50% quantity and 07.05.10 for balance 50% quantity.

The firm is not responding to our mail, phone calls for supplies. The contact person Mr Rohit Kumar was tried on 09811284737 09711184737 not less that 40 times but he is always busy and a SMS msg is given stating that he will call later and business querry can be addressed at 09212514892, 09310723100 and 09871292911. The first two nos, are wrong nos. The last no. pertains to one Ms Sakshi to whom one has to replicate the entire story from the begining all the time without any output and subsequent referal to Ms Ruchika who always assures that the matter will be taken up with Rohit Sir and she will be updating about the delivery plan. But her call never comes. SAIL has selected "Milano/Action" brand considering the quality but exorbitent delay/non-supply is great embrassment to us

We may have to re-consider our decision of continuance of this brand for INSTITUTIONAL NUYING because of extremely poor response and failure in delivery commitments. I feel that this feedback will be helpful in taking remedial measures for improvement in future..
