Cheque dishonoured with remarks of "Cheque is out of allocated Range"

I had deposited a cheque on dated 27.02.2010in HDFC Bank, New Delhi (C/A No. 13432000000830) of Rs. 4, 00, 000 vide number 001242 drawn on any CBS branch of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur Issued by Nash Fashion India Ltd. Jaipur. On 3rd March I found the same cheque is dishonoured with remarks of "Out of Allocated Range".

Relationship Manager says that they do not know the exact reason.

I contacted the Payer of the cheque and they said that their account does not reflect any such cheque.

I am very keen to know the meaning the remarks kindly do the needful.
