i applied for a sum assured of rupees 50 lakh under your policy plan PLATINUM PROTECT and made a payment of rs.14229 as initial premium. Later I received a revised offer from the company that they can provide me sum assured of rs.25 lakh only due to some financial documents being not complete which i accepted. I was issued policy number 828632158 with annual premium of rs.5801 service tax. Some time later I received a call from company that i can be provided a sum assured of rs.50 lakh if i wish to. For that i have to fulfill certain financial documents and i have to surrender the policy issued to me. So i completed the formalities and surrendered the policy. Then i was issued another policy but again for rs. 25 lakh {policy number 803446657} with every term being same as old policy but the annual premium has been increased to rs.6825 service tax. I want to know that if i was not to be allowed sum assured of rs 50 lakh why i was asked to surrender the previous policy and if so why the annual premium being increased from rs 5801 to 6889 being both policies having every term and conditions same.
