Hi,

I don't know where to start from? I have faced this problem so many times that I really don't understand how to sort it! I think its my own battle as the problem creators are in mood to sort this and give a damn blind eye. These guys can even beat the government authorities. Welcome to AIRTEL!!!

I have an airtel simcard with a number 91 9890902131. Time & again there are these unwanted services that keeps on getting activated on it. Sometimes it is about matrimony, at times jokes, cricked updates and the list goes on... The thing is the cell is for home use and used by my mom, so we do not keep much track about its activities unless the balance shows in minus. I had personally complained so many times and even complained to the manager that there should not be any services active as we do not need any service, but you know what, you cannot stop its continuity. its AIRTEL after all!!!

What can I say about the customer service that its offered? considering it is a chargable call??? How can one tolerate that the represetation literally hangs on you when we talk about your service without any offence?? When you try later the call is automatically diverted to a machine asking us to dial?? for balance inquiries??? damn it who is asking for balance??? and to back it, its a chargeable call??? how acceptable is it??? When you ask for a supervisor at the beginning of the call, you know what, you are off the line.. without even giving a hear??? I tell you, if you guys face this same problem, how will one go for this service called AIRTEL???

Representatives promise that the service will get deactivated, but its sill active. They say the amout deducted will get refunded, but it still does not. I pay for something i had never asked for, neither used the damn service. How acceptable is that???

I personally have worked with the top BPO's and served both US and UK clients. You know what, even if a call gets accidently disconnected from our end it will cost us our JOBS. Thats the difference. And customers have toll free number to vent their frustations as long as they could. I know what it feels, so i always keep it short and simple, but the airtel representatives... i dont know what to say...

My last resort is to switch to another service provider cos i know this will go on till eternity, until AIRTEL lasts!!!

FYI, i did not call on the number mentioned, because its balance is gone to -6, i have another airtel no: -90 9970041394, from which the call was made. I think even this number should be dismantled ASAP.

Thanks for the excellent service and the 2 reps i spoke with today truly stuck to airtel standards. One of them set false promise, the other one hung up on my face. Tried again, was politely turned to an IVR, the call i was paying for.
