I am bringing to your attention that i have lodged numerous complaints against the coffee chain Barista Coffee Company Ltd from time to time being an ex employee about the wrong doing of the company. The Following stores are operating in various locations in the city dont have the prerequisite licenses which i have mentioned. However since the various departments are busy taking bribes from Barista the coffee chain continues to operate without the licenses. I am taking this last step of bringing to your attention as i trust you to be the man who will take this seriously knowing your reputation.
Following stores are operating without any licenses.
1-Barista Lavazza at Arthur Bunder Road Colaba next to Radio Club.
2-Barista Lavazza at ground and 1st floor at Rcity Mall in Ghatkopar.
3-Barista Lavazza at oshiwara in andheri.
4-Barista Lavazza at Santacruz Sv Road next to Yoko Sizzlers.
5-Barista Lavazza at Sip & Munch at emerald hotel opp sea princess Juhu Tara Road.
6-Barista Lavazza next to Regal Cinema at Colaba Causeway.
7-Barista Lavazza at Chapel Road at Bandra Reclamation.
8-Barista Lavazza at Bandstand Bandra.
Barista lavazza is not even paying their staff wages in accordance with the Minimum wages act of maharashtra.
-the various agreements done at Barista Lavazza are not regiatered deliberately to avoid paying the government stamp duty and registartion charges.
-Food and Beverages are charged at abnormally high prices under grade 3 and 4 licenses which is non permissble.
-The various stores of this chain at Reclamation, Bandstand, Shivaji Park, VT, Lokhandwala and Santacruz have outside areas which are being used illegaly without any permission and the Barista Clients who sit here smoke which is against the No Smoking inPublic Places Law.
I have been sending complaints to various ward offices in person and on the website it seems everyone is busy making money in taking bribes from the management of this chain and not worried about how directly this chain is oerating illegaly in our Maharashtra cities of Mumbai And Pune.
Expect you to take strongest action against the concerned chain.
I would also be filing RTI applications in the same regard shortly.
