I'm not sure how much this is going to help me or other like me but i'ld like to bring to the attention of all travellers the kind of hospitality provided at the gajner palace hotel, Bikaner, Rajasthan. Their property manager, Mr. Madan S. Shekhawat, chefs and other staff are ready to beat the guests at the drop of a hat just because they ask for clean tables and proper tea/coffee instead of one served with burnt milk and on top of that think that since they have been working for 40 years noone can say or do anythig to them. Same is the case with their group manager - MR. Aditya Veer Singh. He too is the most inhospitable manager I have ever seen who thinks that a customer can be treated badly and nothing can happen to the hotel. Im completey agahst at the kind of training their staff goes under to have such serious service issues. Its a disgrace to the entire hospitality industry when a person working in this industry raises voice and hands on their patrons/guests and their supervisors think its 'COOL'.

The experience in question happened on the 30th December when i went to gajner palace hotel for a visit along with 10 other cousins of mine. We paid the entry fee of Rs. 150.00 per person. We were shown the lake (from the restaurant), the temple and one room. We were told to sit outside in the cold as the restaurant manager had to be ready for serving dinner at 6 in the evening. Since we had kids with us and it was cold outside we said we want to sit inside in the restaurant only. Afetr a long painful discussion, we were seated and 30 minutes later served burnt milk tea and coffee. During the wait we were repeatedly told to keep quite. I wasnt aware we had entered a school. People go to restaurants with friends/cousins to enjoy themselves ot to sit quietly. After we returned the burnt tea and coffee we were again asked to sit outside at this my husband said alright and when we went out all the tabled were dirty. Upon requesting the staff to clean the tables so that we can sit, we were told that they they will do it only after one hour and were told to sit quietly on the dirty table and not make any noise. At this we asked them to clean the table right away as we didnt have all night to sit there and wait for our tea/coffee. The property manager started shouting, the chef came out of the kitchen and all together they raised their hand on my cousin. We interfered and went to the reception. When asked for refund, we were told that they cant do it and have certain protocols to follow (like beating the guests is one of them).

Their staff is utterly humiliating and i advise everyone against any of the HRH goup properties. It is the worst kind of hospitality anyone in the world can cater.
