Terrible Service

(Tuesday 14th Aug) I visited One on The Bund in The Fullerton Bay Hotel with my fiancée to celebrate her new job and after spending S$290 left the restaurant with a very sour taste.

Firstly we was sat down with only drinks menus and after 5 minutes had still not been given a food menu until I prompted the staff. The restaurant had only 4-5 tables in use.

Secondly, When I asked for a bottle of Prosecco and was served only 2 glasses of drink, no bottle!

Thirdly, I constantly had to ask for food as it took far too long considering how empty it was.

Fourthly, the staff (non local) were clearly unable to understand English or Mandarin because they could not tell the difference between ‘potato’ and ‘appetiser’ nor ‘bottle’ and ‘glass’.

The food standards had clearly declined since I last visited too, Pork Knuckle appetiser had very little taste and the amount of pork in the pork maw with Schezuan chilli and peppercorn was insulting.

Totally unacceptable from a restaurant that is supposedly in the Top Ten of Singapore and charges such prices, I will not be visiting again.
