The latest on GSHL Employees - We are 89 expats who were deported from Libya last year (March). So far the company has not even cared to settle our dues. Much to our discomfort, it has even stopped acknowledging our mails and phone calls.
Mr Sunil Katial, our President (Opns) who was heading the unit then, has joined a company as Executive Director and is not bothered to even speak to us, much less solve the problem. Not only this, as if to add salt to injury the company has terminated the services of all employees last year with retrospective date, which is illegal. We are all protesting the shady misconduct of GSHL.
Mr PK Mittal has a lot to answer, but which of the Govt. agency /agencies is /are involved in bringing him to book and make him pay all our monies? He is roaming 'scot-free' in India in spite of the fact that he is a director in Indian companies, like GPI (Gonterman Peipers India Ltd) and Balasore Alloys. He has even sent a legal notice to one of our ex-GMs Mr Subhash Jadhav when the latter approached LISCO (Libya Iron & Steel Co., Misurata, Libya) which owes GSHL payment in lieu of our work there (as per our then-existing contract) before we were evacuated by the Govt of India.
We are indeed thankful for the Govt. gesture in evacuating us from Libya last March, BUT THE COMPANY DID NOT SPEND EVEN A SINGLE DOLLAR TOWARDS THIS, MUCH LESS AT LEAST ASSUAGE OUR FEELINGS WHEN OUR CAMP WAS LANDLOCKED (ONE ONE SIDE -EAST IS BENGHAZI, THE SEAT OF TROUBLE AND THE OTHER TRIPOLI, THE ERSTWHILE REGIME'S STRONGHOLD). MR MITTAL DID NOT EVEN LIFT HIS PHONE WHEN WE PHONED HIM FROM OUR CAMP CONSISTING OF OUR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN, BESIDES 89 EXPATS. Mr Guntapalli Jagannadha, Director of GSHL and Deputy Managing Director, GSHL was instrumental in this deed.. where have you vanished GJ? Where are your promises ..vanished? OR ARE YOU AFRAID AGAIN TO FACE US? (Because when we last spoke to you, you were in Mumbai airport going to your hometown in AP..).
We expats have been having a series of meetings with Hon'ble Shri Vyalar Ravi, Minister, MOIA and have corresponded with the Indian Ambassador in Tripoli and the Ambassador of Libya in India NOT TO ISSUE ANY FURTHER VISA TO ANY PERSON VISITING LIBYA UNDER GSHL LIBYA.

Mr PK Mittal is a known offender and should be barred from doing business not only in India, his Indian Passport (No. Z1962561, valid thru 2.8.1919, issued from Kolkata on 3.8.2009) should be impounded.
He should be forced to accept his offences and should be immediately jailed. He has duped so many Indians who unknowingly take the offer of joining GSHL (erstwhile GIHL or Global Infrastructure Holdings Limited). His company legal advisors, Legalaides, Kolkata should also be barred from the Bar Council of India for representing a known criminal and economic offender of India.
INDIA’S PRESTIGE GETS TARNISHED BY SHRI PK MITTAL’S ACTIVITIES IN THE FOREIGN COUNTRIES LIKE NIGERIA, LIBYA, BOSNIA, SERBIA, DUBAI, BULGARIA, APART FROM INDIA.
As though the above is not enough, Mr PK Mittal is roping in people with lucrative job offers to work under GSHL Libya, as per our reports. So we have cautioned the Embassies of Libya in India and India in Libya not to entertain this fraudulent group called GSHL (or Global Steel Holdings Limited, under Pramod Kumar Mittal)
All relevant details can be shared with concerned so that the above named criminal Pramod Kumar Mittal is brought to book.
As if the above is not enough, the employees of erstwhile DSC (Delta Steel Company, Nigeria) are stranded in Delta, Nigeria as the company has been taken over by AMCON (Assets Management Company of Nigeria) and there is nobody to look after, let alone pay them salaries (in excess of 12 months, in addition of other allowances as per contracted terms). Such is the image of GSHL in foreign lands that it has come to be known as a ‘corrupt’ and ‘fraudulent’ company in the above countries and the Governments in those countries are fed up doing business with PK Mittal and his group of cronies. These include his henchmen including lawyers, CAs from chartered accountancy firms (in India – BN Agarwal & CO, Kolkata & Partner, Shri Pramod Agarwal) Company Secretaries (Shri Trilochan, in charge of the Indian entities), Directors of Ispat Industries Ltd., Finance Personnel, etc. who remain in his fold for their own vested interests. Are these really professional people doing and discharging their duties as per their professional standards? It is mind-boggling to think of their ‘ethics’ and ethical code of conduct..absolutely corrupt people serving a criminal!!! Shame on you fellows!!! You guilty & shameless people!!!
Why can’t be a criminal like PK Mittal be arrested and his properties in India confiscated is a fact which is bothering us. Can anyone give an answer as to why is PK Mittal not caught till now and is allowed scot-free (he has shifted his base from Mumbai to Mittal House, Kolkata, phone no. 033- 241-09290, Secretary to Mr PK Mittal – Mr Jayagovind – ph. 098-3127-9338) and so most of his cronies?
This is not a pleading to anyone to do or take any action or sympathise, but an eye-opener to prospective employees who may be swayed by GSHL & also an eye-opener to the Government of India and its subsidiaries to act very fast in this matter involving NATIONAL HONOUR AND PRESTIGE. What are they waiting for? Why is action not forthcoming? There was a lot of press reports on Delta expats, Libya returnees, etc by the national and international media. Why is our issue not being highlighted and action taken?
