On the 1st of Jan’ we went to Believable Employment Services #26/10, Erikarai Street, Tharamani, Chennai, India to book a maid. We spoke to the owner named Geetha (9941614012) who was very soft spoken and promised will provide free replacement for one year so we booked the girl named Renuka, giving a deposit of Rs.4000/- to Geetha. Everything was ok from the beginning except for few things like she wakes up late about 7am. But just because my mom liked the maid very much she helped her to earn extra Rs.500/- in our neighbours place just to do some pongal spring cleaning, of course she was willing to do also. And one fine day she fell ill with mild hay fever, we took her to the doctor and bought her the medicine too. She insisted on going back to her office for few days, we refused asking her to take rest for 2 days if still not Ok after 2 days we promised to allow her to go back to her employment office. After taking the food my mom prepared and the medicine, she slept until late afternoon. Finally got up and said she still wants to go back atleast for 1 day. So I accepted and gave some money for the bus and asked her to carry the medicine along. She came back after 2 days and said she did’nt want to work here. She started to cry and wanted to take her things back, so my mom decided to send her back. And my mom insisted to leave the dresses, undergarments which we had bought for her the very first day when she came to work. We called Geetha so many times never bothered to respond lastly one lady named Jasmine picked the call and spoke very rude, she said the very next day a maid will be in my house. But until today (it’s past one week) she has’nt sent anyone and never bothered to call us also. We decided not to take any of the service from her inspite of the
Rs.4000 /-we lost.
I suspect this is a trend set by them just to earn the deposit. Please don’t ever take any kind service from this cheater service. I wonder how people can be so selfish ready to eat other people’s money. I will sure take this to the consumer court and get back my money soon. These money eaters will be responsible for this one day.
