Aqua Management Consulting Group is a subsidiary of Aqua Logistics Ltd. It has been continuing to not pay salary to its employees since January. However, it is still running and its CEO (Mr. Ram Mantravadi) claims to pay the salaries "soon" to those employees who have left the company and also provide salaries to the current employees. Since he is not in the board of directors of Aqua Logistics and those in Aqua Logistics have contacts, so he is not concerned about any law suit being filed against him or Aqua MCG as it will be against Aqua Logistics. The employees of Aqua MCG were guys from IITs and IIMs who are more or less convinced that it is a lost battle against Aqua Logistics and are contented with the fact that they could get jobs after 5-6 months of working for free. Though Aqua MCG has provided some of its employees with a letter about the dues that Aqua MCG owes to them, this is just a mere farce. The company intends to pay no one.
Worst is that the company is still scouting for talent and visiting some of the best b-schools.
