Sir,

I am having vehicle policy. My Policy No. is OG-10-2202-1802-00017443. It is due for premium on 16 August. I have received SMS on my mobile twice to pay renewal premium. Accordingly, I personally went to pay the premium to-day at your Ahmedabad Office situated near Law Garden. When I tenderd the cheque to the counter, I have been told that you bring the Renewal Notice, which I have not received till date. Then I have been asked to go inside your office and bring a copy of renwal notice. Is it the duty of policy holder? Anyway, I requested for the same and ultimately I go it. When I gave a cheque with a copy of renewal notice. I have requested for provisional receipt against the payment of cheque. First of all, the concerned person was reluctant to give me receipt. He has told me to make a xerox copy of renewal notice and only on that notice simply he has put his initial without company's seal or stamp. When any customer comes personally for payment of premium by cash or cheque, it is the duty of the concerned staff to given acknowledgement subject to realization of cheque. I want to know who has to send the renewal notice to whom and when? When Policy Holder himself comes to pay premium then he has told to go on such procedure and wasting time?
