I am a regular customer with competent since last three years and get my Wagon-R and SX4 serviced here atthe Hero Honda chowk location.
I brought to their notice all the wrong - doings that were meted to me during my last service of Wagon-R.
I discivered that although I was charged for the engine decarbonization, wheel alignment, wheel balancing -- none of these were actually performed. I found out this when I noticed that the tyre pressure in one tyre was less. I got it checked and it came out as 11. In others it was 45, 27 and 32 clearly indicating that balancing was not done. Then I talked to the person who does decarbonization and he told me it was not done. Carbonization costs 1400Rupees. When I asked supervisor, he kept saying it was done. He also insisted that everything was taken care of. Not only this, he was rude and also accused me of abusing him, which I never did.
I talked to Mr. Rajender and he asssured me that this wont be repeated. I also got a call from their office telling me that necessary action would be taken and told to me. Nobody got back after that. That supervisor is still working there and duping 100s of customers.
What happened on 21/8: I again came for service of my SX4. Ashok Saini was the supervisor. I requested him what had happened last time should not be done this time. He assured me, When I came to get my car, it was put in alignment bay in front of me. As soon as I turned back, it was removed -- I could sense that alignment was not done. I talked to Rajinderji and got it rechecked immediately. The alignment was totally out and Rajinderji confirmed that this was a mistake. I asked the tyre pressure to be checked -- it was 21, 18, 27 24 -- indicating that balancing was also not done. When confronted, Ashok admitted that it was possible that flushing was not done - I was charged for all the services - a total of 3000Rupees.
For the concerned at competent:
I have the recording of the complete conversation this time which I will use to take appropriate action against the service station unless you do the same and give me a written apology and written assurance to correct it in the future. I am also going to lodge complaint on the online forums and if necessary action is not visible in 5 days, I will raise it through the newspapers and through direct complaints with Maruti Suzuki.
