Just witnessed a height of unprofessional attitude from the Delta Cabs, Hyderabad. My father was getting discharged from Care Hospital, banjara hills and i booked the cab, thinking why not make his journey comfortable. But to my dismay, neither the cab driver reported nor there was any communication whatsoever from the delta cabs. My repeated follow-up calls where answered by saying that the driver is struck in the traffic and will report in some time. Meanwhile, my recuperating father waited for over an hour at the hospital lobby but all in vain. when i again called up, the service person informed that the vehicle had broke down and they will not be able to help me.
The most shabby thing was that all this while there was no communication from delta and every time i called there was a different person on line and I had to explain the entire story to get an answer. Finally, when i wanted to lodge a complaint with delta authorities, a person pretending to be some manager (which I'm sure he wasn't) patiently heard and simply said sorry.
After waiting so long, we still had to scramble to get an alternate arrangement.
So, moral of the story is...
don't use delta cabs and I'm not sure of other car rental co's.
