Poor service

Below is the copy of email communication with DHL (Latest first). You may call it ranting letter from my side. But i couldn't stop myself.

Al in all, i dint expect this from DHL.

Hello Jacintha,

I would like to inform you that universities will be getting numerous application and its not easy for university to keep track of all the email queries. For your information, i have already sent a mail on 26th and yet no reply from them. I still do not have any clue of my application.

And also, for your information, see below mail thread. I know place is in remote area and i registered for service with DHL only after confirming with your staff that the transit time will be 2 (normal transit time) 2 days (for remote area). There is no need for reminding me again.

I regret i paid lump-sum amount for this kind of service.

I checked the status and since three days its showing "Delivery arranged no details expected". How will I come to know if my package has been delivered? I called up customer care and that person is not bothered to hear my queries. He says register a complaint on the Web site. I don't even know if my package is safe. I again tried customer care and that person gives me the third party contact number. My question is why can’t DHL get the updates from third party? It’s not that I haven’t paid for the service.

After checking it with customer care I registered for this service with DHL. I could have registered with TNT who is providing the service at lower cost. If this is the service available then I think I will better contact TNT next time. Low cost and same service as DHL.

My issue is, deadline of my application is 28th Jan. I registered with DHL confirming that they will deliver within 5 days knowing the fact it is in remote area (normal transit time is 2 days). I am checking your web site since three days hoping it will show status as delivered and finally when I call up customer care above is the response I get.

Here is the third party contact number “81319536582401”. Please call them and ask the status. I cannot do it myself since my phone doesn’t have the access to make ISD calls. And its middle of the night I cannot get an ISD shop nearby. If I call tomorrow morning it will be night for them nobody will answer my call. Later if I call it will be too late and I won’t be able to do anything.

I think I will be putting up a complaint in consumer complaints forum after hearing reply from you.
