Here is a story how DOT CABS confirms INDICA and charges 250 extra:
On 17/05 22:16 hours I booked a cab on DOT CABS 040 24242424 and was sent the following SMS (from 919666578624):
Dear Customer, Thank you for Choosing Dotcabs, Your Booking for 18-May 3:30 AM, Booking No: B000404 is Confirmed (INDICA-CITY TO AIRPORT).
On 18/05 02:21 hours I received the cab driver details (from 919666578624):
Dear Customer, Your Cab AP11TV1282, CHAUFFEUR: SdAzmathullak, DC No: 1050 With Cell: 8096950827 /9885569533 will reach you as scheduled. Thank you. Dotcabs
On 18/05 3:45 AM cab arrived, took almost 45 minutes to find my house! Finally when my aged mother/self reached the airport the boarding gates had closed, and I had to incur an additional expense of Rs1900!!
However my main complaint is as follows:
WHY DID THE DRIVER TAKE Rs 800 FROM ME WHEN I BOOKED AN INDICA FOR Rs 540??
I called DOT CABS on the following instances and complained :
19/05 2:29 PM - was assured the complaint would be looked into and I would be given a refund of Rs 260 (ie. Rs 800 Less Rs 540).
06/06 5:00 PM - agent FARHAN informed me NO COMPLAINT HAS BEEN REGISTERED - how can this be? Fresh complaint no. 220 registered.
