I am Pavani, an employee of an MNC in Electronics City. I have my long-term VISA interview on 9th Dec. I have my Shatabdi Express booked in this regard for 8th Dec morning at 6:00AM. I booked a cab with Easy Cabs, Bangalore (Ph: 080 4343 4343) on 7th Dec morning for a drop at railway station at 4.45AM of 8th Dec. The operator confirmed me with the cab and in a little while I got an SMS confirming me on the same. Also, I reconfirmed with them on the cab again, in the evening of 7th on the same and I was being told that half an hour before the cab to reach my place, the driver will call me, ie., at 4:15AM. On 8th morning, I got ready to travel and was waiting for the cab driver's call. There was no call till 4:23AM. I called the customer care and told them on the same. After providing necessary details, the customer care executive is telling me that the cab cannot come as there is a technical problem and said "SORRY Madam"! I had no clue at that time, what I was facing. I literally shouted on them for their responsibility. First of all they did not call me and inform and I was waiting for the call and also he was apologising for the same. What will a Sorry give me... as I was continuously yelling on him for their irresponisble behaviour, and asked him to arrange immediately, he got back onto the call after 5 mins and tells me that he will arrange a cab that will come at 4.55AM.
I did not take this cab and arranged immediately another cab in which my room mate usually travels. The whole point here is the irresponsible behaviour and actions of the Easy Cabs. Mine was a very important official trip where in I am going for my long-term VISA interview from my organisation. I want this to be taken up very seriously so that not just Easy Cabs, but no other cab service takes customers for granted. There is no trust left on Easy Cabs for me.
