I have given my car for regular service on 27/12 & Job card No. R201108270 has been issued. I requested for drop service for which my own car was used. Just 500 meters away from the service centre, service sentre driver (Mr Pravesh Singh) hit my car with Autorickshaw, damaging the front portion of my vehicle. The driver run away from the location.
Police came at location & my car was towed to service centre for repair as service manager has understanding with local police. The Service manager suggested me to claim loss thru insurance & whatever leftover loss will be compensated.
After repair I received my car on 10-Jan'12 after paying Rs 50535/-.
Later Auto owner lodged FIR against my vehicle, against which police started tracking me & later sealed my vehicle at police station for which I took bail from District Court resulting into further expense & harassment for me.
Finally I have received 50% of claim amount, Harassment on account of non availability of vehicle, court & police involvement, holiday from my work place to settle the case & future botheration till issue settles.
In short I have loose almost Rs 30~35K, after believing Hyundai Service Centre. Requested to compensate this loss.
