My first mistake was taking my car to the dealership for servicing. But because I needed to do that in order to preserve my warranty, I was stuck with it. I brought my car in for a routine service job (scheduled maintenance). Came back to pick it up 8 hours later and found that my GPS, which was hidden in the arm rest had been taken. After speaking to a useless Service Manager, who assured me 'something would be done' failed to get back to me after a week. After a scathing letter to the President of Acura in Markham, I was told that 'there is no way one of their people would have stolen the GPS; the technician that serviced the vehicle is a senior mechanic, and would never do anything like that do jeopardize his job'. So with that response, they immediately rejected my request to have the unit replaced. I have vowed never to return there and I strongly suggest everyone restrain from going there. But if you have to, I would suggest having them sign a waiver that acknowledges all the contents in your vehicle. Dumb asses at Acura in Markham...
