Non Delivery of Booked Vehicle since 11 months

Sub: Dealer’s attitude is suspicious and questionable.

Sir,

I have booked for one HONDA Activa on 06.07.2009 with your dealer SHIVAM Automobiles, Bhubaneswar by paying Rs. 1000/- . I was assured of the delivery of the vehicle within two months. After repeated visit to your authorized dealer, I have been frustrated and irritated by telling that the delivery will still take some more time. The dealer was not giving any clear picture of when I would be able to get the delivery of my vehicle. After repeated arguments and a fight on 17.12.2009 after nearly six month of my booking, the dealer has again asked me to deposit Rs. 24, 000/- and assured me that my vehicle will be positively delivered within a week and on 17.12.2009 I deposited Rs. 24, 000/- with the dealer. As usual I again visit the dealer after a week to find out what is the delivery status of my vehicle. The same story was repeated by your dealer and as expected he did not give a clear picture.

Now it is almost 11 months since I have booked my vehicle and I am shocked to say that your dealer is not in a position to delivery my vehicle. This is ridiculous, a company like Honda Motors, is not able to delivery a vehicle which has been booked 11 months back. Either the company is not willing to do good quality business or the dealer appointed by you is making a fool of you and your customers. Why should your dealer sit on my money and run his business. Do you still feel such dealer should continue as dealers? It seems collectively the company and the dealer is playing with the customers and at the end of the day the one who losses everything is the customer and one who gains everything is the dealer and company.

It seems all the efforts that I can put to get my vehicle delivered are almost exhausted. Now I just wanted to get my entire episode to your notice. Now the ball is in your court, either you act and see to it the customer is satisfied or I personally feel you don’t have any dam business to sit on and play with the money of the customers. If you really want to act seriously, my first and sincere request is please take the dealership from M/s SHIVAM Automobiles, Bhubaneswar immediately and appoint a new dealer. He is spoiling the goodwill of a reputed company in the capital city, Bhubaneswar. I would also like to bring to your kind notice that a lot of customers have already been delivered their vehicles, who happened to have booked their vehicle months after I did. I still do not understand the attitude of your dealer, why is it that he feels he can dictate terms with the customer. Please for God’s shake look into the matter and solve it immediately. Don’t forget at the end of the all that matters to any company are Customers Satisfaction. I am just waiting for a positive response from your end. Hope my vehicle would be delivered immediately.
